Dunbar Music Group presents

Eric Johnson

October 7, 2023

7pm

Tickets: $19.99 – $89.99

Sponsored by :

River Radio

95.1 STEVE FM

Holiday Inn Express and suites

Eric Johnson has been traveling on a prolific odyssey over the course of more than four decades. Along the way, his creations have encompassed repertoire that cross pollinate genres which include rock, blues, jazz, fusion, soul, folk, new-age, classical and even country. Inevitably, E.J. says it best himself in sharing, “It really boils down to the music and the song at the end of the day,” he explains. “If it doesn’t have that it gets boring for me. The most important thing for me is to grow musically and make a more expansive and meaningful artistic statement with every new project.”

During the Pandemic, the Grammy winning guitarist, vocalist, composer, and multi-instrumentalist has been busy releasing weekly, donation-based, virtual “Mini-Lessons” benefitting Food Banks across the country and working in the studio on previously un-released tracks and new recordings. The currently untitled new record is scheduled for release later this year.

Throughout his career, Johnson has approached music as a healing force, a way to enhance a listener’s consciousness, and conjure joy and inspiration. More than a year into the Pandemic, and because of the Pandemic, he reflects that this approach has become reinforced and more enhanced.

The 2022 Treasure Tour will feature some of the previously un-released gems, some new songs, and some older favorites. His band will include Tom Brechtlein on drums, and Roscoe Beck on bass.

DYNASTY Entertainment LLC

presents

BRUCE IN THE USA

The World’s #1 Tribute to Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band’s band!

Sponsored by

River Radio

Best Western Hotel – Marion

The Marion Star

Dynasty Entertainment LLC and Marion Cultural & Civic Center are proud to announce “Bruce In The USA”.

The most powerful and intense Bruce Springsteen tribute show on the planet is coming to Marion!

Bruce In The USA is much more than just another tribute…This high-energy musical experience is a note-perfect and visually accurate recreation of a Bruce Springsteen & The E St. Band show.

Matt Ryan, from the World Famous “Legends In Concert” cast, began playing the Springsteen character in 2000, in Legends “full scale” Las Vegas show. The great success in the famous Las Vegas show brought him to performances across the world, eventually evolving his character into the Bruce In The USA show.

The Bruce In The USA Band consists of seasoned world class professional musicians. The show has hosted musicians from such acts/bands as Queen/Paul Rogers, Meatloaf, Blue Oyster Cult, Hall and Oats, Joe Cocker, The Ojays, Aretha Franklin, David Cassidy, The Temptations, Slash… and so many more. This high end, powerhouse, band has taken this genre of performance art to a whole new level, making it the World’s #1 Tribute to the E Street Band’s musical legacy.

To millions of diehard fans around the world, it’s Springsteen’s marathon, party-like performances that have elevated him to hero status. Bruce’s legendary concerts (in the largest arenas) sell-out within hours of their announced sale. For those even lucky enough to get a ticket, there was nothing that could fill the aching void in between Bruce’s long-awaited tours…until now!

This is one show you Do Not Want to Miss!

Be a Next Generation Leader
Fall Workshop Series
Fresh strategies and a new mindset for today's leaders.

Starting August 30th and finishing November 1st.  Wednesdays, 12:00 to 1:00 PM at EThOs Small Business Incubator, Coworking Spaces, Training & Development, 504 Tower Square Plaza, Second Floor, Marion, Illinois.

Today’s leaders must differentiate themselves and better connect with their teams, customers, and communities.  You can inspire your team members in a way a paycheck never could.  In this workshop series, you will:

  • Learn how today’s team members require a combination of different qualities from their leaders than they did in even the recent past;
  • Grasp the importance of eight key paradoxes that are critical for next-generation leaders to put into practice right now;
  • Be inspired by historical and modern-day leaders who lived the eight paradoxes; and
  • Understand how you too can lead with the eight paradoxes, guiding you to emotional and social intelligence that resonates with your teams and leads to outstanding collaborative results.

Facilitated by Russell Williams, Maxwell Leadership Team Coach and Founding Director of EThOs @ The Citadel

Enrollment is $250 per participant.  EThOs Coworking members and Marion Chamber of Commerce members receive a rate of $225.

SPEAKERS

Dr. Jason Richardson - Session Title: Win the Day, Everyday!
Presentation Description: Here is the deal, every success and failure can be traced back to a belief. The problem is most people don’t even realize their brain is operating from a faulty premise! Good news… It’s TOTALLY possible to build a bigger, better, stronger belief (one that helps you win more, play better, and live happier!) Are you ready to uncover the one thing that is holding you back?

In this brilliantly edutaining 45-60 min presentation, World Champion athlete and Olympic Psychologist, Dr. Jason Richardson teaches us the neuroscience of belief and how you can use the Belief Matrix to coach yourself (team) in to better returns. You will also learn how to reprogram yourself (team) for more success. Jason will literally give you the important plays from his pro athlete playbook.

Chastity Mays - Session Title: How Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Can Benefit Your Workplace
Presentation Description: In the presentation we will discuss how creating a diverse, equitable, and inclusive (DEI) workplace has huge benefits. Striving for better DEI practices can positively impact creativity, productivity, and collaboration. DEI has the potential to increase sales, increase customer base and increase profits. DEI is the right thing to do and it also makes good business sense. Companies that fail to take steps to prioritize DEI find themselves behind their competition, unable to attract and retain workers and struggle to meet goals. This presentation will discuss these ideas and more for the benefit of the Southern Illinois region and beyond.

Elijah Hamilton - Session Title: How to Foster a Startup Culture Within Established Organizations.
Presentation Description:In this presentation, we will explore the concept of fostering a startup culture within established organizations. We will discuss the benefits of adopting an entrepreneurial mindset, such as increased innovation, agility, and adaptability. We will also examine the challenges that established organizations may face when attempting to create a startup culture, such as resistance to change and bureaucratic processes.

Through real-life examples and case studies, we will provide practical strategies for building a culture of innovation, including encouraging risk-taking, promoting cross-functional collaboration, and empowering employees to take ownership of their work. Attendees will leave with actionable insights on how to create a startup culture within their own organizations.
