This session will update participants on recent decisions impacting severance agreements, non-competes, employer work rules, independent contractor relationships, expanded remedies for unfair labor practices, and employee misconduct to name a few. It will also provide insight into possible additional changes to expect later this year regarding employer conduct in the face of union organizing campaigns, bargaining obligations related to employee discipline, the use of company email, challenges to employer productivity monitoring and potential expansion of joint employer liability.  Join, Scott Cruz, Labor and Employment Attorney at Greensfelder, Hemker & Gale P.C., and Grant Pecor, Labor and Employment Attorney at Barnes & Thornburg LLP, as they discuss the NLRB’s ever expanding labor agenda.
