Going Green Commitments
- Recycling and sustainability are true passions at Extra Help. In fact, our founder Teresa Katubig was a founder of the Recycle Williamson County committee, which started the recycling program in Williamson County, Illinois.
- Extra Help is proud to support the green movement. We have taken a number of steps to reduce our impact on the planet. While our personal efforts may be small, we believe that if we each do our part, it can make a huge difference. We encourage you to take a few small steps of your own and keep building on them. Here are some of the ways that we are trying to have a greener approach to business.
- We started by developing an office Recycling Center and by educating the staff about the importance of recycling. Then, we began to eliminate the purchase of as many disposable items as possible. We also changed to new energy efficient light bulbs and turned off our computers at night. We also implemented a policy to use recycled paper and eliminate plastic trash bags.
- You really can make a difference. If you haven’t started your own Green Movement, please start now. It won’t make a big impact on you, but it will make a big impact on the environment!
