Makanda, IL – Specialized Equine Services (SES) and Veteran Equine Therapeutic Services (VETS), a non-profit organization dedicated to providing therapeutic equine-assisted activities for individuals with special needs, is pleased to announce the receipt of a generous grant from TCC Verizon. This grant has significantly enhanced our ability to communicate effectively with our riders, volunteers, and the community at large. With the support of the TCC Verizon grant, SES/VETS was able to purchase a new computer, update essential software, and revamp our website. These improvements have not only streamlined our administrative processes but have also made information more accessible to our community.

Additionally, the grant funds have enabled us to invest in a broadcast service, allowing us to deliver timely updates and important announcements directly to our riders and volunteers. This enhanced communication infrastructure has been instrumental in ensuring that everyone involved with SES/VETS stays informed and connected. "We are incredibly grateful to Kimberly Stevenson and TCC Verizon for their generous support," said Patricia Nardini, co-founder. "Their grant has empowered us to enhance our communication and technology infrastructure, enabling us to better serve our riders and volunteers.

We look forward to continuing to improve and expand our services, thanks to the support of partners like TCC Verizon."
