The Marion Chamber is excited to welcome new members to our organization.  Once a quarter, the Membership Committee hosts a New Member Luncheon prior to the regular Membership Committee Meeting.  Our new members get to network with fellow business leaders in a cozy environment over a complimentary lunch!  Current members are also invited to attend!

You are invited to the August Leadership Marion Lunch & Learn with special guest Thanet Natisri. Thanet, owner of Thai D restaurant in Marion, is well-known internationally for his leadership in the 2018 rescue of a youth soccer team trapped in a cave in Thailand. Thanet leads projects to bring fresh drinking water to Thailand and other surrounding countries. Most recently, he has helped flood relief in Alexander County in Illinois. Join us as we learn from an action-oriented local and international leader.

The registration fee for this event is $20 for members of the Marion Chamber ($25 for nonmembers), payable to the Marion Chamber of Commerce.

Learn American Heart Association lifesaving procedures in this class while helping us raise funds for the AHA’s Upcoming Heart Walk on September 21 at Walker’s Bluff.

What Will This Session Cover?
How to call for help, procedures for Adult, Child, Infant CPR and Choking, Overview of an AED-what it is and how it works.

*THIS IS NOT A CERTIFICATION CLASS*

How Can You Help?
Attend the class, learn lifesaving measures and help us raise money for our Heart Walk Team. A $25 per person donation is required prior to attending the class.

The past two years, the PCA has made a name for outstanding athlete-centric bodybuilding and fitness events. PCA USA is bringing this gold standard to the United States, with a following of athletes that are prepared to compete and attend.

The Marion Cultural and Civic Center event will have local athletes as well as competitors from other parts of the United States.

Carterville Chamber of Commerce presents the 8th Annual Glow Run/Walk on Friday, September 6, 2019 at Cannon Park.

Twilight 5K begins at 7pm.

Pre-registration before August 23rd = $20; Ages 14 & Under = $10
Pre-registration guarantees souvenir race shirt
Race Day registration = $25; Ages 14 & Under = $15
Race day registration & packet pickup will be held in front of the Carterville Community Center from 5 - 6:30pm on Race Day.
