Event Description

Then on Thursday, February 15th, at 1:00 p.m., EThOs and The City of Marion are offering a free workshop on the Small Business Administration (SBA) 504 Loan Program presented by Steve Lindsey of the U.S. Small Business Administration.

Find out why the SBA 504 Loan Program is one of the best financing solutions on the market for entrepreneurs looking to strengthen or grow their business.

As many businesses struggle to find affordable growth financing in this higher-rate environment, SBA 504 Loans are offering business owners a pathway for securing quality, below-market, fixed-rate financing.  Combined with its longer repayment terms of up to 25 years and lower down payment requirements, you owe it to yourself to find out more about this incredible opportunity.

About Steve Lindsey:

After more than 20 years in the banking industry, Steve Lindsey was appointed Vice President of Growth Corp in 1998.  His entire career has centered around developing and coordinating U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) and Government financing for small businesses.  Steve’s accreditations include SBA Financial Advocate of the Year, National Association of Development Companies (NADCO) Board Member of the Year, and Preferred Lender Status with SBA.  He also coordinated an Omega Financial Training Course and served on the Rend Lake College Business and Industry Advisory Council.  His company is a nonprofit, mission-based Certified Development Company (CDC) dedicated exclusively to connecting small businesses with quality expansion capital. Recognized as an Accredited Lender with SBA, a distinction only given to CDCs with exceptional performance, Growth Corp is the largest 504 lender in Illinois and a top 10 CDC nationwide.

If you haven't been to EThOs at the Citadel, it is located at 504 Tower Square Plaza, Second Floor.  Parking is available around the square, on West Main Street, and one block west of the building behind the First United Methodist Church.  Please try to avoid parking right in front of The Vault Cafe so the cafe customers can have spaces.

You are welcome to bring your lunch with you.  The Vault Cafe is located on the first floor of our location.  You can order your lunch to-go and bring it upstairs.  I recommend calling in and placing your order in advance or arriving at least 20 minutes early to order and pick it up at the cafe.

As with any educational event, hosting this workshop does not constitute an endorsement of any product or program by EThOs @ The Citadel, or its employees or The City of Marion, Illinois, its programs or its employees.
