The Marion Chamber of Commerce would like to invite you to our Monthly Membership Luncheon on February 13, 2024 at The Pavilion. Program starts at noon. (Food service begins as 11:30 AM.) 

Cost - $17 for Chamber Members, $22 for guests/non-members
  • Please note we're asking for payment at the time of registration. If you have any questions, need assistance, or an invoice to submit for payment, please call the office at 618-997-6311.
Luncheon Menu - Provided by Cold Blooded
Chicken Carbonara or Tomato Spinach Chicken Penne. Served with a Smokehouse Salad w/ Assorted Dressings and Garlic Bread Sticks. Dessert is Angel Food Cake Slices W/ Choice of Sauces (Strawberry Sauce, Raspberry Sauce, or Chocolate Ganache). Served with Tea (Sweet & Unsweet), Cold Blooded Cold Brew, and Ice Water

PROGRAM: Making the most of the 2024 Solar Eclipse

The April 8th, a solar eclipse will cross Southern Illinois and bring tens of thousands of visitors to our area. What will this mean for your business? Join civic and tourism leaders to talk about the lessons learned from the 2017 event and how to make the most of the the upcoming event - an event that won't happen again in our area for 300+ years! Speakers include:

  •  William Lo: Carbondale Chamber of Commerce Executive Director, Owner of New Kahala, and Admin for Southern Illinois Eats
  • Jennifer Olsen: City of Marion, Director of Business Development
  • Ashlee Spiller: visitSI Executive Director
Special Announcement
Join us for the launch of the 2024 SI Made Expo event that will take place in July at the Pavilion. Included will be a special presentation by State Senator Dale Fowler and the organizations that will benefit from this year's event!

Through programs, services, and outreach, WSIU partners with other community organizations to promote positive change, and to support the academic and public service missions of Southern Illinois University Carbondale.
Housekeeping

After October 1st, event tickets will need to be paid for when they are reserved. If you need to make other arrangements or need an invoice to request a check, please contact the office. Any open balances will need to be paid by the day of the event or guests will not be able to attend.

RSVP deadline is the Friday before the luncheon at noon, afterward limited seating will be available. Check out the registration portal to see how many seats are available or join a waiting list. Attendees will receive a reminder prior to the event.

These new policies were put in place at the July 2023 Budget Committee Meeting due to concern about unpaid event registrations.
