Event Description



The employee retention and attraction seminar will convene regional experts and advocates to discuss the shared challenge of equipping their organization with top talent. Featuring a panel discussion of local employers to answer questions and share some advice from their vantage point in the industry. Lunch will be provided to allow for networking. The day will also focus on the US Department of Commerce’s Job Quality Toolkit which provides strategies and actions to help small-to-medium sized organizations recruit and retain a high-performing workforce. Available employer support services, including local grant funding opportunities, and successful strategies will be shared.

 This workshop will be held at the Center for Innovation in Research Park, 1745 Innovation Drive, Carbondale, IL 62903. There is no cost to attend. Lunch will be provided by the Office of Innovation and Economic Development.
