Suicide Prevention is the #1 clinical priority for the VA. The idea behind this summit is to get community partners and members all in the same room to be able to share information and resources used to combat suicide.  We would like to reach out to any and all organizations that interface with Veterans (examples: a Veterans ministry through local faith-based organization, a local Veteran Service Organization, or suicide prevention organization), and extend an invitation to our Veteran Suicide Prevention Summit to them. This is where we need your help.

Media Partners – Our Executive Director is the driving force behind this summit, and he would love to spread the word about it. If you would be willing to entertain and interview, please contact me.

The attached flyer includes additional details, including the link for organizations to reserve their seats at the Summit. Please share this flyer with the organizations you feel might be interested in attending. Reservations are required for this event to ensure appropriate planning and support for the attendees.

This event is intended for community partners to share resources from VA and our larger suicide prevention community with the common goal of eliminating Veteran suicide. This event is not targeting the general public, but we will not turn away RSVP’d individuals who wish to attend.

Thanks for all you do, and thanks for helping extend our invitation to our community partners.
