Event Description
Join the Minority Veteran Program and the Illinois Department of Employment Security for Marion’s VA Federal Career Workshop on March 23rd from 12 – 4 pm. This workshop is held in honor of “Federal Women Employee Month” to help unemployed Veterans and Civilians that have a hard time navigating through the USA jobs process, alleviating as many disqualified Veterans for Federal jobs as we can. We will be explaining the process and giving pointers in area we think will help the Veteran/Civilians.This is NOT a job fair so we will not be conducting any on the spot interviews or hiring process, simply assisting them and answering questions. Resource tables are available to try and assist those needing assistance with VA Healthcare.
