Event Description
On behalf of the Southern Illinois Regional Chambers of Commerce, we would like to invite you to take part in the inaugural Regional Legislative Summit on August 25th at the American Legion Post 647 at 900 South Jefferson Avenue in DuQuoin Illinois.
This event is an informative discussion between Federal & Springfield leaders, local elected officials, and business leaders. Elected officials will do a 5-minute presentation outlining recent programs and efforts focused on the Southern Illinois area and their goals for the coming year. Attendees will be able to submit questions to prompt additional discussion before or during the event.
Attendees will enjoy lunch from Tipsy Pig’s BBQ, regional updates, networking with business peers, and gain political awareness of issues facing our area. Tickets are $20. Registration is online or by calling the Carbondale Chamber of Commerce at 618-549-2146.
