The Marion Chamber of Commerce is hosting a virtual career fair on April 7 from 3 – 7 p.m. The event, Career Changing Opportunities, is free and open to all who are seeking a change in their career path.

If you are seeking career changing opportunities, please visit https://www.marionillinois.com/career-fair for the list of participating exhibitors and careers available. You do NOT need to register for this event. To participate in interviews or ask questions to career hosts, you only need to log into the site from 3-7 p.m. on the day of the event and click on the meeting link for the employer(s) you wish to speak with. All those seeking career opportunities are asked to have a digital copy of their resume ready for the day of the event and be prepared to virtually meet exhibitors of the career fair through Zoom, Google Meet or other online platforms. All job seekers should be prepared to be on video during their meetings with exhibitors.

If you want to be an exhibitor and have career opportunities available, you’ll need to register through this page before April 4. Exhibitors must available throughout the four-hour event. Job seekers will visit the career fair web site and click on the link to speak to an exhibitor about the careers they have posted. There is no cost to be an exhibitor at the career fair, but all exhibitors must be members of the Marion Chamber. Exhibitors must be able to use Zoom, Google Meet or another online platform to meet job seekers during the event. Since the virtual meeting link must be active through the whole event, free Zoom accounts may not work.
