Program Description:
Generation Z, or the igeneration is changing the way we do business and communicate. Gen Z is the fastest-growing group of employees, consumers, and voters, impacting how older generations shop and communicate.  Dr. Steve O’Keefe will walk you through the generational divide and discuss ways to improve workplace dynamics across all generations and how to avoid being Blockbuster in a Netflix world.

About Our Presenter:
Steve O’Keefe is the Director of College Relations at John A. Logan College, where he also teaches courses in Marketing, Sales, and Advertising. He holds a Doctor of Education Degree in Organizational Leadership and a Master’s Degree in Workforce Education. He has presented his doctoral study, A Looming Crisis in Leadership, detailing the leadership void caused by retiring Baby-Boomers to      National, State, and Regional Audiences.  He began researching Generation Z two years ago while developing a new enrollment and marketing plan.  He discovered that there are currently five generations in the workplace, and to be successful, business leaders need to know how to communicate with all generations or risk being left behind.
