Event Description
The Illinois Army National Guard 2nd Battalion & 130th Infantry Regiment will be deploying on January 21st at 2pm.   We invite you to take part in the ceremony at the Banterra Center at 1400 Arena Drive in Carbondale. 

Additional Information
  • The unit will deploy in support of Operation Freedom’s Sentinel
  • Units are located in Marion, West Frankfort, Mt. Vernon, Litchfield and Effingham, Illinois
  • The Banterra Center is located on the campus of Southern Illinois University-Carbondale
  • Media should arrive 30 minutes prior to the ceremony
