Event Description
Rural communities in IL are suffering from the impact of the opioid/substance misuse epidemic. This crisis affects the future of individuals, families, businesses and entire communities, making it "Everyone's Issue." As a multi-faceted, complex issue, opioid/substance misuse requires a collaborative, coordinated response from multiple segments of the community/region. This conference is an opportunity for community leaders - businesses, economic developers, educators, law enforcement, faith-based and community coalitions, medical and social services, non-profit organizations, elected officials, etc. - to join and work together.
